The HarayaConsulting Co. derived its company name from the word haraya, an ancient Tagalog word referring to vision or the capacity of the human mind to generate meaningful images and ideas based on experiences of the past.

  • The emblem represents the dynamism and interconnectedness of the three pillars of development: society, environment, and economy.
  • The branches and leaves represent the environment as the planning area which should be prioritized in the crafting of development plans.
  • The colors — green, blue, and yellow — represent Earth’s spheres that are involved in the planning process: biosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, and geosphere.
  • The circle represents vision — the human’s most dominant sense and the process of deriving meaning from what is perceived.
