CDRA Formulation for Pres. Carlos P. Garcia, Bohol

Facilitated Pres. Carlos P. Garcia’s (PCPG) Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) and conducted various activities including geotagging and mapping to plot/ validate land uses, infrastructure, and facilities for the preparation of exposure maps. HARAYA also provided lectures on climate and disaster concepts, and risk assessment. Identified natural hazards, and assessed the climate and disaster risk of PCPG with key stakeholder representatives from the public and private sectors and community members, in accordance with CDRA Preparation guidelines


Formulation of Comprehensive Land Use Plan for Pres. Carlos P. Garcia, Bohol

HARAYA facilitated the first phase of the formulation of Pres. Carlos P. Garcia’s (PCPG) Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) including the collection, validation, and processing of data, vision and goal-setting, and preparation of the Municipal Ecological Profile.


Formulation of Tourism Development Plan for Echague, Isabela

Prepared the Tourism Development Plan (TDP) of the Municipality of Echague, Isabela anchored on sustainable tourism concepts while generating revenues and employment for its residence, and provided framework and direction for the municipality to harness its tourism economic potentials, conserve its natural resources, preserve its cultural heritage, and provide general direction in formulation or appropriate programs, projects and policies.


Impact Assessment of CvSU-Gender and Development Research Center

The project covered the identification and evaluation of the outputs and outcomes of the services offered by the Cavite State University’s (CvSU) Gender and Development Research Center (GADRC), and the analysis of their impacts to the Center’s stakeholders to determine strategies in improving the services offered


Impact Assessment of CvSU-CAFENR’s SciCAT Project

The engagement covered the identification and evaluation of the outputs and outcomes of Cavite State University – College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources’ project entitled Transforming Silan’s Farm in Indang, Cavite into Science for the Convergence of Agriculture and Tourism. More importantly with the end goal to provide analysis of their impacts to determine strategies in improving the project.


Food Tourism Resource Mapping in Cagayan Valley

Engaged by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 to conduct an inventory on food tourism resources and assets in key destinations in the region following the National World Tourism Organization (UNTWO) guidelines for the development of gastronomy tourism. We assessed if food and gastronomy tourism is a competitive product in the region and identified specific food in gastronomy resources and assets that are ready for product development .


Impact Assessment of CvSU-CVMBS’s Rabies Prevention Project

Conducted impact assessment on Cavite State University-College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences’ Rabies Prevention Project aimed at controlling and eventually eradicating rabies in Cavite, and developing awareness among pet owners on rabies and responsible pet ownership.


Crafting of Business Plan and Updated Detailed Investment Plan for Cacao Lavezares

Provided an analysis of the present scenario and developed a resilient BP anchored on the DIP that is expected to provide overall direction to the operations of Cacao Lavezares Chocolates and Confiserie, Inc. making it sustainable, efficient, and growth-oriented in the long run. HARAYA prepared an integrated business plan with lenses on Climate Change Adaptation-Disaster Risk Reduction (CCA-DRR), Gender and Development (GAD), and Green business for Cacao Lavezares Chocolates and Confiserie, Inc. participating in the detailed investment plan under cacao industry sector.


Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan for Honeycomb Builders’ Urban Loft Arlegui

HARAYA prepared the DRRMP prior to the construction of Urban Loft Arlegui (ULA) which covers managing disaster risks, before, during and after the construction of the Project. The formulation of the DRRMP of ULA was anchored in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and DRRMP of the City of Manila. This involved the review of the existing plans and hazards maps of the area where the Project is located. The DRRMP also considers the results of the conducted soil investigation that outlines the subsurface conditions of the proposed Project site.


Technical Assistance to the Philippine Commission on Women’s Gender and Development Webinars

Provided technical assistance to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) for the conduct of the 2022 and 2023 Gender and Development (GAD) webinar series participated in by about 10,000 representatives from various government agencies and private sector companies.
